At Pars Fortuna, we believe in taking a soulful, yet intentional approach to making wine. We start by sourcing high-quality fruit from SIP Certified or organically-farmed vineyards throughout Santa Barbara County. Combining gentle, traditional winemaking methods with a healthy dose of intuition, we craft expressive, vibrant wines that capture the unique character of Santa Barbara’s coastal regions.

It might sound cliché, but we truly believe that great wines are made in the vineyard. We carefully select each vineyard site for its unique character and meticulous farming practices, working closely with the vineyard managers throughout the growing season. Harvesting on the earlier side, we aim to achieve the perfect balance of acid, flavor, and sugar. For us, it’s all about preserving the purity of the fruit. By embracing a “less is more” philosophy in the cellar—using primarily neutral french oak, native or carefully selected yeasts, and responsible sulfur—we allow the wines to naturally express their exceptional origins.
